Membership With The Rotary Club of Minneapolis

Our Rotary Club is filled with business professionals and leaders that are busy in their professional and personal lives, but they find the time to work on self improvement and community issues. We offer our members the benefits of collaboration. Collaboration is the most effective method of doing more with less time. Our Rotarians meet once a week for 90 minutes and are able to work together on impactful programs both locally and around the world.

If you are looking to join the Rotary Club of Minneapolis, here is some information for you to better understand your role as a member.

Member Meetings

We encourage all members to come to our Friday luncheons. During our meetings you will have the chance to collaborate to help translate your visions into realities. Quality guest speakers present compelling programs on varied topics, including business, government, media, literature, art, education, sports, community service and medicine.

By joining our club, you will receive the opportunity to serve. We visit those in need all over the world and provide them with services and resources to give them a better life. All of our service programs concerns health matters such as poverty, hunger, literacy and the environment. Some of our service opportunities include:

  • Club Service – Focuses on strengthening fellowship and ensuring the effective functioning of the club.
  • Vocational Service – Encourages Rotarians to serve others through their vocations and practice high ethical standards.
  • Local Community Service – Covers the projects and activities the Club does to improve life in its community.
  • International Service – Encompasses actions taken to expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the globe and promote world understanding and peace. Collaborating with other Rotary clubs last year, our club leveraged our initial $40,000 in international service contributions and turned that into over $400,000 in 7 projects in Ecuador, Egypt, India, Mexico and Tanzania.
  • New Generations Service – Recognizes the positive change implemented by youth and young adults through leadership development activities and creating international understanding with Rotary Youth Exchange.
